Yasmin Mita Noor allegedly committed suicide

Television actress Sabina Yasmin Mita Noor allegedly committed suicide. Police recovered the body of the 42-year-old in the morning after her husband Shahanur Rahman Majumder informed them over the phone around 6:40am.

Samples from different parts of her body had been collected for viscera tests, he said, adding that the cause of her death would be known for sure after the tests.Morgue sources said the injury marks on her body might be two to three days old but those could not be directly linked to her death. Shahanur and Mita got married 24 years ago. Mita Noor is a very well known face in the TV media from the 90s.

She has acted in a large number of TV plays and serials. As a successful TV actress, though she had possessed a good position in drama for 22 years. By performing in a weekly play of Bangladesh television titled ‘Sagor Sencha Sadh’ in 1989, Mita Noor came into view as an actress.
