Xiaomi becomes third largest smartphone brand in Bangladesh: IDC

Xiaomi, global technology leader, today announced that it has become the third largest smartphone vendor in Bangladesh as per the latest report from IDC for Q4 2018. Xiaomi has doubled its shipments of smartphones to Bangladesh resulting in a 8.2% market share as per IDC Asia/Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Q4 2018..8.

Xiaomi displaced Samsung from the 3rd position, in Bangladesh smartphone market share and grew to become the third largest smartphone vendor.

The report also announces that Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 were the new top-selling models of Xiaomi in Q4 2018 contributing 56% to its overall shipments.

Xiaomi introduced POCO series with the launch of Pocophone F1 at an attractive price point in the country.. Recently, Xiaomi also launched its first ever Android Go model – Redmi Go in Q1 2019 to further expand its entry-level segment.
