Popular singer Nazmun Monira Nancy allegedly attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills in her father`s Netrakona town residence . In a critical condition, she was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.Nancy`s husband Jahed Hossain of Mymensingh town first took her to Netrakona Adhunik Sadar Hospital around 7:00pm As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to MMCH. Once Media claimed, Netrakona Sadar police Officer-in-Charge Md Masudul Alam said family feud might have led to the suicide attempt. Md Masudul Alam, officer-in-charge of Netrokona sadar police station, said: “Family feud and frustration might be the reason behind the incident.” Nancy is undergoing treatment at Ward 27 and she is out of danger.
