Bangladeshi technology products manufacturing giant Walton has launched five new models of laptops in the market. The high-quality international standard laptops include three models of Passion series while rest of the two models of Tamarind series.
Prices between BDT 37,950 to 69,550, these laptops are available at all Walton Plazas and brand outlets across the country. The ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labeled new models of laptops will also be sold in US market through e-commerce giant Amazon.
Engineer Liakat Ali, Executive Director of Walton and CEO of its Computer Products Division, said that the new laptops were manufactured at the Walton’s own factory in Chandra of Gazipur. The configuration and prices of those devices have been selected considering the interest, requirement and affordability of domestic and international customers and these laptops are more affordable than any products of other brands with same configuration.
One of the major features of laptops is the multi-language keyboard. In addition to Standard English, there is also built-in Bangla font and Bijoy Bangla software for which anyone can easily type Bangla using these laptops.
The premium and elegant metallic design laptops feature 14-inch HD and Full HD IPS matte LCD display, Intel’s eighth-generation core i3 to i7 processors, HD and UHD 620 graphics, 4 to 8 GB DDR4 RAM, one terabyte hard drive, 1-megapixel HD camera, 430 to 480 minutes battery back with two years warranty.
In addition to Prelude, Passion, Tamarind, Karonda and Waxjambo series laptops, Walton has various models of desktops, monitors, RAM, SSD cards, memory cards, keyboards, mouse, pen drives, earphones and WiFi routers.
Customers can purchase all models of Walton laptops and desktops for 12-month installments at 20% down payment. There is also the opportunity to buy laptops with EMI facilities at zero percent interest rate.
