Walton investing 10M USD more in TV set production

Local electronics giant Walton is investing 10 million US dollars more in television production at its own factory in Bangladesh to manufacture best quality products for customers home and abroad.

The disclosure was made at a conference of Walton plaza managers held at its corporate office in city on Thursday (11 October 2018). SM Mahbubul Alam, Director of Walton Group, inaugurated the daylong conference titled ‘Meet the Plaza Managers & Exchange View 2018’ where more than 300 managers from different parts of the country along with high-officials of Walton were present.

The function was attended and addressed by Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. Chairman SM Rezaul Alam, Walton Group Directors Zakia Sultana, Tahmina Afrose Tanna and Raisa Sigma Hima.

Walton Group Executive Directors Eva Rezwana, Amdadul Hoque Sarker, Nazrul Islam Sarker, Humayun Kabir, SM Zahid Hasan, Ashraful Ambia, Md. Rayhan, Col. S M Shahadat Alam (Retd) and Major General A K M Muzahid Uddin (Retd), Deputy Executive Director Uday Hakim, Sr. Operative Director Golam Murshed, Operative Director Firoj Alam were among others present on the function hosted by film actor Amin Khan.
