Walton extends Millionaire Offer’s tenure to 30 Sept’19

The country’s electronics giant Walton has further extended the timeline of its ‘Who will be millionaire today’ offer by one month to September 30, 2019 considering the offer’s growing popularity among the customers.

For extending the offer’s tenure, any customer may get Tk 1 million (10 lakh), Tk 1 lakh, free appliances of Walton ore sure cash vouchers of different values after registering Walton refrigerators and freezers just after the purchase from any sales outlets across the country during the current month.

Earlier, the customers of Walton fridges enjoyed the offer till august 30 last. During that period, a good number of customers across the country got Tk 10 lakh, Tk 1 lakh under the offer.

Golam Murshed, executive director and chief executive officer of Walton Fridge Department, said, Walton millionaire campaign got huge response from customers in the local refrigerator market during this Qurbani Eid, led us to sell out around 16 units of fridges till the Eid.

Walton’s fridges that are featured with lucrative designed glass door and wide voltage system became the customers’ top choice models and these models of fridges made a great contribution to the record sales of fridges in the domestic market during this Qurbani, he noted.

Walton recorded 51 percent growth in its fridge sales during the period of January to August of 2019 compared to the sales of the previous year’s corresponding period, informing it Murshed hoped of achieving the target of selling out two million units of fridges in 2019.

Among the customers of receiving Tk 10 lakh buying Walton fridges, there are Chandpur’s mosque Imam Mohammad Zakir, Cumilla’s Nazmul Hasan and Mohammad Yasin from Feni, Khulna’s Miraz Hawlader, Bagerhat’s fish farmer Jakir Sheikh, Brahmanbaria’s housewife Mishu Akter Jui and Asma Begum Saida from Hobiganj.

In addition, Cumilla’s Aysha Islam, Mymensingh’s Shihab Uddin, Srijan Sarkar from Barishal, among others, got Tk 1 lakh.

Shahiduzzaman Rana, product manager of Walton fridge, said, the tenure of the million offer was extended by one more month to September 30 next considering its growing popularity among the customers.

He also informed that Walton is offering a one-year free replacement guarantee in the refrigerator and a 12-year guarantee for compressor, providing maximum installment benefit of 36-month.’

Therefore, Walton is conducting ‘Digital Campaign’ across the country to accelerate the initiative of building customers’ database for delivering online based swift and best after sales service.

The details of the customers and their purchased products including the name of customer, contact number and the model number of the product purchased are being stored on a server through the digital registration. As a result, customers can avail the service from any Walton service center any time, even if the warranty card is lost.

ISO certified Walton Service Management System declared the current as Grahok Seba Mas (Service Month to Customer).
