The vivo Global Imaging Press Conference 2024 was held on October 15, Tuesday, in Beijing, China. The event featured keynote speakers including Yu Meng, Vice President of vivo’s Imaging Division, Li Zhuo, Senior Director of Imaging Products, and Sebastian Döntgen, Head of Mobile Imaging at Zeiss Photonics and Optics.
Embarking on a journey to represent the future of smartphone imaging, vivo introduced the X200 series. Working under the motto “Empowering Experience through Digital, Humanizing Technology for All”, vivo and Zeiss are collaborating closely to meet the increasing demands of smartphone users worldwide.
To fulfill the growing global demand for smartphone imaging, vivo is employing various strategies. In his welcome speech, Yu Meng emphasized, “At vivo, we firmly believe in the power of imaging technology, which transcends geographical boundaries and cultural differences.

Li Zhuo, Senior Director of Imaging Products at vivo, highlighted the X200 series’ imaging innovations, featuring Zeiss’s Landscape, Portrait, Telephoto, and Videography capabilities. The X200 Pro boasts a 135mm Ultra-Sensing Portrait System for stunning landscapes and achieves 20x zoom in telephoto mode. It’s also equipped with the advanced V3+ imaging chip for enhanced video capture.
Sebastian Döntgen from Zeiss added that vivo smartphones now include renowned Zeiss lens technologies like Biotar Style Bokeh and Zeiss Planar, known for their sharpness and contrast. These technologies ensure top-quality imaging, even in challenging conditions, and are available across both flagship models and the V series.
