Unsung innovations of impressive Bangladesh: Future is here!

The promotion theme means everything in three words. Yes we are going to enter the largest technology carnival in south Asia. Someone described it as an exposition outside. When the individuals enter the arena, the idea turns on. The tech carnival tiled Digital World started at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital on February 9 and will go an end on February.

The technology mega event become crowded with the foot print of renowned Bangladeshi and International technology personals,

When anyone enter the DW arena, s/he get noticed the red carpet pavilion of BASIS (Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Service) just next form colourful gate.

BASIS President Shameem Ahsan looked very smiley and said confidently “We are going ahead. There is no barrier here. We are very proud to be a part of the greatest technology carnival in south Asia. In brief I can say that that is the mass making centre for innovation and business together. Hope we will get result soon from this event,”

There are 4 parts of the arena are named according the language myters. That idea brought a difference environment. There are some 120 private organizations and 100 government agencies exposed their innovations in respective field.

Besides, there were held some 20 seminars, 9 conferences as well as 23 technical sessions for the community people.

Google Developer Group Dhaka Manager ArifNizami told that the people are very curious about technology. They are waiting for new technology every day. The crowd of Digital World proves that. There is no scale of age here. People from every walk of life attended the mega event.

There was held the Women in Tech conference just after the inauguration of the event by Bangladesh cabinet’ Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in presence of PM’s ICT Advisor SajeebWazed Joy on Monday evening.

There is notable crowd in the Google session about Google in Bangladesh. The officials of Google HQ attended the panel discussion moderating by Bangladeshi Google Official VikiRassel. In the session, Google official urged community people to enrich content online.

The e-Governance part of the event lead by Access to information programme under Prime Minister’s Office of Bangladesh.

The main objective of the e-Governnce is service at mass’s door steps. We are working together for build a prosperative Bangladesh. For first time, we introduced Public Private Partnerships in every sector. Digital World is one of the good combinations of e-services form government as well as private sectors,” A2i Project Director Kabir Bin Anwar told very confidently.

The main attraction of the second day was Ministerial Conference where Bangladesh got regional comments on technology progress of Bangladesh and set up a target. The first ever Titanium Conference held as a part of DW-15. The cloud camp conference held for 4th time in Bangladesh as part of DW this year. Cloud Camp Co-Founder Dave Neilson introduced cloud computing in every sector.

The mega event will go end with the attractive Award Night as well as CXO Night with top executives from private and government agencies. ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak introduced the first ever ICT Award in Bangladesh including technology reporting.

The event will end by tonight, but the flavor of innovations and ideas will remain.

Bangladesh again proves, we can. The light will come through the innovations and the knowledge based society is not dream, It`s near!!
