University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) Submits Application of ‘Intent to Apply’ for BAC Accreditation

The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) submitted applications “Intent to Apply for Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) Accreditation” on Thursday 24 October, 2024.

The programs seeking intent to apply for accreditation of four Academic programs of UITS include BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), BSc in Civil Engineering (CE), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

This significant step underscores UITS’s commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of education. Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Chairman of the BAC, and Professor Nasir Uddin Ahammed, Director (Accreditation), received the applications. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC at UITS, and Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Registrar of UITS, represented the university during the submission process and met with the BAC officials.

It highlights UITS’s commitment to meeting and exceeding the highest standards of education quality and demonstrates their proactive approach in enhancing the academic experience.
