SSC result distribution is beginning today. Huawei is providing its state-of-the-art SMS solution to Teletalk to facilitate SMS based access to SSC and equivalent exam results published by all the education boards of the country. The convenient digital solution will allow students as well as their parents to get the results from the comfort of their homes. Therefore, the solution will also work as a deterrent against the spread of the Coronavirus at the community level.
According to education ministry officials, results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams will be published on May 31. But students can do pre-registration till May 30. Once the result is published by the board, it will be sent to all registered mobile numbers through SMS. Students can also get results, whenever they need, following the same process.
To know about SSC results, SMS should be sent to 16222 with the text SSC<space>Board Name<space>Roll<space>Year.
A few days back, Teletalk thanked Huawei, on their Facebook page, for providing the service to them stated, “To publish the result of SSC examination 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Teletalk has been completed all necessary technical preparation. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the technical team of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited for such an effort to develop our SMS platform and facilitating millions of students with the upcoming result. This was a great experience.”
Jerry Wang, CTO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited, says, “Huawei aims to bring a Better Connected Intelligent Bangladesh. And our unique solutions play an important role. It is our pride that our Short Messaging Service Center solution can help numbers of SSC candidates to be safe. We want Bangladesh doing better, and its people have a healthy and safe life.”
This year, the SSC exams began on February 3, with the theoretical and practical tests ending on February 27 and on March 6, respectively. Around 2,050,000 students took part in the exams in over 3,500 centers from around 29,000 educational institutions across the country. The results will be sent to the students’ mobile numbers and will also be available on the education ministry’s website.
