Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani was present at the summit along with more than 400 investors and dignitaries from different countries.

Afeef Zaman delivered a keynote speech as a thought leader where he focused on the potential of tech-embedded financing to revolutionize the economic landscape of emerging markets.
Based on real-world economic activities, this model aims to align the interests of financiers and recipients, offering a new scope for scaling the solution through technology.
Afeef Zaman, Founder and CEO of ShopUp, said, “There’s a new world being created. These are countries in MENA, South Asia, Southeast Asia.
These countries have been growing 5 to 6 times faster than the developed world. The SMEs are the actual cornerstone of the economic prosperity of these regions.
We want them to be in the driving seat of the growth of these regions as well.”
Zaman’s presentation on driving growth in emerging markets through ShopUp’s business model was well-received by investors and audiences alike.
