‘SANDALINA BOLD WOMEN’ Campaign Begins

Sandalina, the flagship brand of Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited, has launched a new campaign titled ‘SANDALINA BOLD WOMEN’ (SANDALINA TOMAR SHAHOSHIKOTAI TOMAR SHOUNDORJYO). Sandalina organizes this campaign aimed at creating a platform for all women, who are successful today despite all adversities in their life. A press conference was held at Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar Hall of The Daily Star in the capital’s Karwan Bazar on Monday morning, December 09, 2019.

M. Ziaul Hafiz, Executive Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) of Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited, Senior Vice-President (Brand) Golam Kibria Sarkar, Senior Executive (Brand) Md. Ziaur Rahman and Managing Director of AD65 BD LTD Fazla Rabby were present at the press conference.

The campaign titled ‘SANDALINA BOLD WOMEN’ was first ever organized in 2018. The purpose of this campaign is to establish the motion that ‘the true beauty of a woman is revealed through her Courage’. During the campaign, the organizers received such encouraging stories of many brave women from different walks of life, which will inspire many other women in the society leading themselves to the path of success.

At the press conference M. Ziaul Hafiz, Executive Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) of Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited, said, ”In our society, women are growing up through hardship and restrictions. One thing they always hear at every stage of the society is `You are a girl’. The word ‘You are a girl’ has shattered dreams of a woman before it blooms. Amongst all odds and restrictions, there are some fearless women who are rising above all and making their dreams come true. Unlike following the trend of evaluating womanhood by their beauty only, Sandalina Brand comes with a different viewpoint. We want to create a platform for recognizing those courageous and special women in the society.”

Fazla Rabby, Managing Director of AD65 BD LTD, said, ”To ensure better participation of women throughout the country, we will stage Brand Activation Campaign at all renowned educational institutions of 8 divisional cities of Bangladesh. Through a proper assessment and scrutiny of all stories via engaging a panel of judges, we will recognize 8 (Eight) best stories of courageous women to be the ‘SANDALINA BOLD WOMEN’. These inspirational stories will be broadcasted in all media including Social & Digital media. We hope that this will encourage other women to strive for fulfilling their dreams. ”

The organizers have mentioned the rules of participation- all interested women have to like the Facebook page of Sandalina and have to share the page publicly. Then women from each division will have to share their courageous stories mentioning their name, division, district, picture and phone number on Sandalina Facebook page (or they can inbox their stories there); also they have to share it on their Facebook timelines by writing #sandalinaboldwomen. The content of the campaign must be liked and shared publicly by them. Finally, the Jury panel will verify the authenticity of the stories submitted by the participants across the country and the campaign will conclude through recognizing the 8 best courageous women from 8 divisions.
