Robi Axiata Limited, a leading mobile phone operator of the country, has simplified its International Roaming Service. The company disclosed this development at a press conference held at a city hotel today.
As part of the service simplification initiative, Robi now offers simple & affordable rates in 100 countries. Rather than having to select any particular operator/ operators; Robi offers a single rate for each country in any of the 100 countries. In addition, Robi is also offering daily data roaming pack in 72 countries. To avail the offer, Robi customers need to subscribe to Robi’s Roaming Service and dial *140*10*3# for free. Robi is the only operator in the country to offer simple & affordable roaming rate for each of the 100 countries.
International Roaming is a service which enables person to use the same mobile number at home and abroad. Since it’s difficult to communicate new number to all, International Roaming service allows anyone travelling abroad to stay connected with his/ her near and dear ones using the same cellphone number.
Speaking on the occasion Robi’s Chief Operating Officer Mahtab Uddin Ahmed said that with the growing economy, a large number of Bangladeshis are travelling abroad for business, visit and medical treatment. In order to facilitate them to stay connected with Bangladesh we have simplified our roaming service by allowing them freedom to choose any operator in any of the 100 countries with a single rate for each country. We are confident that our subscribers will find our unique service offering the best solution for their increasingly mobile lifestyle.
