The global pandemic has put a hold on the tech industry. But even in this dire situation, the¬ latest realme innovation, realme TV won Google Certification. The tech trendsetter brand has halted numerous unveilings, but plans to bounce back with a range of products as the situation gradually improves.
According to a certificate recently shared by the Android TV Guide on Twitter, a certain realme TV codenamed as ‘ikebukuro’ has won a Google Certification, which means that the TV will run with Android TV OS. The certificate also indicates that the probable producer of the TV is ChangHong, the second largest television producer in China. This realme TV reportedly has an MStar T16 processor. With Android TV OS, the realme TV should have all the access to Google Play Store. Therefore, tons of apps and games for the TV including popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube will be available. Since the TV will have Google Certification, the realme TV should also support Google Assistant voice search via remote. The realme TV is expected to be released in 43 inches and 32 inches.
As the world starts to recover, realme TV will be released in different markets, but the company is yet to confirm a release date. With huge response from the tech-trendy young generation on the world’s fastest growing smartphone brand, realme officially entered Bangladesh in February this year and launched two smartphones – realme C2 and 5i. realme C2 became the highest selling smartphone in Evaly since launch. In continuation to the success, the tech-trendsetter brand plans to storm the market with innovative products including smartphones; wearables such as wireless earphones, smart bands, smartwatches; smart TVs, smart speakers and soundbars.
