We are proud and honored today to inaugurate our model pharmacy and to emphasize proper treatment into the services we offer our patients. Today, I am remembering my grandfather, Hamidur Rahman Sinha, who founded Bangladesh’s first pharmaceutical company, Acme Laboratories Ltd., in 1954, whose life’s work was manufacturing international standard pharmaceutical products for this country,” said Praava Health Founder and CEO Ms. Sylvana Sinha. “At Praava, we want to give you the right care at the right time, and quality drugs are an important part of that.”

Medical Director Dr. Faisal Rahman shared, “At Praava, quality comes first, and to achieve that in our model pharmacy, we procure all pharmaceutical products directly from manufacturers instead of from suppliers or middlemen, so there is no risk of counterfeit products.”

“The concept of family medicine and preventive health play vital roles in healthcare and I’m very pleased to learn that Praava Health is bringing back these practices in Bangladesh,” said Major General Md. Mustafizur Rahman.  “A model pharmacy caters to patients’ needs by prohibiting the sale of counterfeit medications and employing certified A-grade pharmacists who help patients understand how to take their medication, inform about any side effects, and answer questions patients may have regarding their medication. I’m excited to see that Praava Health is upholding all of the standards of a model pharmacy to provide quality service to patients.”
