Under the label of Mothership Records, the post-grunge band Liquid State Drive (LSD) is going to release their debut studio effort, titled ‘Tomar Itihash’. The album deals with politically charged material as well as the crushing existential crisis of being part of the youth in Dhaka at our time and age.
Before the release of the album in a concert at Dhaka’s Russian Cultural Center on November 30, 2018, the band has brought out a unique, first time ever accompaniment to the album, namely, an Android-based video game called LSD: Last Survival Days.
In the game, the player can choose a band member, and shoot down alien life-forms, while getting a sneak peek into the album, which serves as the soundtrack to the game. An online contest is also going on with the game, where the top 5 contestants with the highest points will receive a special edition gift package from the band, and appear with them on Radio Dhol 94.0 FM on the eve of the official album launch.
The game has been developed by Pixelbrick Studios, and the band members. Studio Baklava is also to be mentioned for special requirements met.
