Additional Superintendent of Police (ADC) Golam Saklain is going to lose his job due to the evidence of an illegal affair with famous actress Pori Moni of Dhaka cinema. During the relationship with the actress, he served as the ADC of the Intelligence-Gulshan Department and was investigating a sensational case.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to “compulsory retirement” of Golam Saklain from service. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has been asked for its opinion in this regard.
Now, Jannatul Ferdous Peya, a lawyer-model-actress, made a serious complaint against Golam Saklain after it became public that he was about to lose his job due to the affair during an investigation.
In a post on social media Facebook on Tuesday (June 25) around 1:45 pm, Peya Jannatul wrote, “This is the person (Golam Saklain) who was in charge from the DB in the FR Tower case against my father. I and mother had to visit DB office for 6-7 days in a row to see my father.”
“This is the person, who fraudulently and forcibly tried to obtain consent of father to take statement under Section 164 CrPC,” the actress wrote.
“I advised my father not to consent – because he was not involved in this incident at all. However, before I went to the DB office, he (Golam Saklain) took a written statement from father and submitted it to the court the next day,” Peya Jannatul wrote, mentioning that he (Golam Saklain) also got angry with her for interfering in this matter and told her father and Peya to “keep their mouth shut”.
“But he did not know that I was not born to keep my mouth shut,” Peya Jannatul added.
Besides describing the incident, she wrote, “The day he (Golam Saklain) arrested father as the landlord at FR Tower for the fire incident, father was so ill that he had to go to the hospital. Father was over 77 years old at that time.”
“In my view, this Mr. Golam Saklain is a ‘very sharp, talented and cunning person’. But one mistake ended it all. Although we forgive people for their misdeeds, however, nature and the Almighty are always there to judge rightly,” said lawyer Peya Jannatul.
Mentioned that Peya Jannatul won the title of Miss Bangladesh in 2007. She then started her career with ramp modeling in 2008. In 2011, she won the World Miss University title organized in South Korea. Besides, Peya has achieved the success of becoming the top model in the World Top Model competition held in Egypt.
Peya Jannatul made her film debut in 2012 with ‘Chorabali’. Besides, she was also a judge in the ‘International Princess’ competition organized in Bahrain in 2013.
