Yu said in his recent visit to Bangkok that the company sees a lot of opportunities in Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, where Huawei’s regional headquarter is located. Southeast Asia, as one of the fastest growing markets of Huawei Consumer Business isregarded as a strategic market and an importantdrive ofthe fast growthof Huawei Consumer Business.
“We see Thailand as one of the largest market opportunities in Southeast Asia,” said Yu. “On May 28, P8 and wearable devices will be launched regionally in Bangkok.” said the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group.
To tap into the opportunities in Southeast Asia, up to 1,500 customer service centres will be opened throughout this region. In the near future, Huawei will release a customer service mobile applicationand Offer Mail in Service (MIS) in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Myanmar, India and Thailand. Also on in the pipeline is the plan for 1-day repair service for high-end products.
