The Land Ministry has issued a letter directing the Deputy Commissioner’s Office (Collectorate) to stop accepting any kind of manual application (paper application) for services related to Khatian (Record of Rights) or Mouza Maps from July 3, 2022।
Now citizens are able to apply for any services related to the Record of Rights or Mouza Map using the Digital Land Record System by Land Service Platform (www.land.gov.bd). Service recipients are able to receive delivery of their choice directly from the office counter or by post. They are also able to pay all applicable fees, including service charges or postage, online. Therefore, there is no need to make any kind of cash transaction in receiving or providing record room services of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. They are also able to receive the same service by calling 16122.
However, applications related to Khatian or Mouza Map are still being accepted manually (paper application) from the record room of some Deputy Commissioner’s offices other than Digital Land Records (www.land.gov.bd) systems.
In this case, the Ministry of Land has issued a letter requesting to stop accepting any kind of manual application for Khatian or Mouza map service from the record room in the interest of providing digital land services to the citizens.
