BASIS Iftar & Doa Mahfil took place at Raowa Convention Center on Saturday evening. Hon’ble Planning Minister Mr. M. A. Mannan, MP graced the occasion as chief guest. Hon’ble ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP was present as Special Guest.
Hon’ble Planning Minister Mr. M. A. Mannan, MP said, having iftar with BASIS has given me immense pleasure. BASIS is the APEX ICT Trade Body of the country and working relentlessly for the development of Digital Bangladesh. He also greeted all BASIS members EID MUBARAK in advance.
Hon’ble ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP said, ICT has become one of the focal revenue earning sector for our country. In 10 years export earning has reached up to 1 Billion US Dollar. BASIS is working relentlessly for the development of this sector. Government is also giving top most priority for the development of ICT sector.
At the program MoU has been singed between BASIS-IPDC Finance Limited. Under this MOU, IPDC shall offer strategic product Joyee for the women entrepreneur of BASIS as well as Supply Chain Finance through Orjon platform to all the members of BASIS. “Orjon” is a comprehensive supply chain financing solution which will provide financial facilities to corporate organization, micro, and small enterprises (MSEs) in one single chain.
After the MoU signing BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said, welfare of BASIS members is the topmost priority of BASIS. I believe this MoU will help BASIS members companies to grow their business and have financial gain at the same time. BASIS President also thanked more than 800 members for joining the iftar & doa mahfil.
