The journey of Metronet Academy started with the training of its own newly recruited officers.
Syed Almas Kabir, Director of FBCCI, President of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber, Past President of BASIS, and Managing Director and CEO of Metronet Bangladesh Limited inaugurated the Metronet Academy at Gulshan in the capital today.
Shamim Ahmed, SAVP, Muhammad Redwanul Karim, AVP, Tania Huq Pranti, FAVP and Moon Mondal Rajib, Branding and Communication Manager conducted today’s training session.
Syed Almas Kabir, Managing Director and CEO of Metronet Bangladesh Limited, said in a brief speech that a large part of the current population of the country is young. To make Bangladesh suitable, it is necessary to start working with the youth now.
Despite the increase in the use of information technology, no such organization has been established in the last one and a half years.
Metronet Academy made its debut today.
Apart from training its own employees, the youth will be trained with soft and technical skills.
He also said that the main condition for the implementation of the goal of the Honorable Prime Minister to see a knowledge-based country by 2041 is to make our manpower efficient.
Over the last two decades, Metronet Bangladesh Limited has created tens of thousands of human resources in the networking sector, who are working in various organizations and have built various organizations themselves as entrepreneurs.
Many have gone abroad for training and are contributing to the growth of our domestic remittances as skilled workers. He is hopeful that Metronet Academy will also play a leading role in this regard.
