Marriott International’s ‘Run to Give’ charity run

Marriott International has brought back ‘Run to Give’ charity run on September 23, 2018. This year Le Méridien Dhaka and Four Points by Sheraton joined efforts for ‘ASHIC Foundation’, a non-profit organisation, which has been dedicating children cancer support since 1994 in Bangladesh.

‘Run to Give’ is a key event under Marriott International’s ‘TakeCare’ movement, which aims to encourage associates to live their best life by promoting physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and creating strong team synergy, while reinforcing company’s core values of ‘We Serve our World’.

Under the ‘Run to Give’ banner, ASHIC Foundation works towards improving the quality of life for children living with cancer in Bangladesh.

Constantinos S. Gavriel, General Manager of Le Méridien Dhaka said, “As Marriott International grows bigger, our core belief to serve the world stays same. With the increased presence of hotels in terms of footprint and associate strength, we extend our efforts to drive positive sustainable social and economic impact in the communities where our associates live and work. This is the way we take care of our people and our world”.

This year’s race in Dhaka comprises of 10 km.

The route has seen participants running along 300 Feet, Purbachal. The run was open for everyone and contributed from any walks of life.

As part of the registration package, participants received T-Shirts, Caps from Le Méridien Dhaka.
