LankaBangla Food Assistance Program 2020 at Chilmari & Ulipur Upazila, Kurigram

LankaBangla Foundation undertook Food Assistance Program 2020 among flood victims of Chilmari and Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram on 22nd & 23rd September 2020.

More than 2,000 relief packets were distributed among 1,000 families of different chars of Chilmari Upazila and 1,000 families of different chars of Ulipur Upazila. Food Assistance pack includes rice, pulses, soybean oil, chira, toast biscuit, gur & salt.

LankaBangla Foundation as part of its CSR activities every year extends support for health, education & environment sectors and undertakes different projects and programs for the advancement of backward population. Considering the present abject situation of flood victims, LankaBangla Foundation has distributed these relief materials among marooned 2,000 families as part of its CSR activities.

Mr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan FCA, Chief Risk Officer; Mr. Md. Jahangir Hossain, Head of Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) & LankaBangla Foundation; Mr. Shawkat Ali Bir Bikrom, Upazila Chairman, Chilmari; Mr. Md Mohibul Islam Khan, BPM Superintended of Police of Kurigram district and local representatives Kurigram took part in the relief distribution program.
