Khaleda’s ‘Vision 2030’

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia has unveild “Vision 2030”. Khaleda proclaims bicameral parliament to be introduced. Khaleda Zia on Wednesday said her party, if elected to power again, will introduce bicameral parliamentary system in the country to make parliament ‘truly a centre of all national debates’.

While unveiling her party’s ‘Vision 2030’ at a city hotel, the leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) announced that the Special Powers Act of 1974 would be repealed once and for all.

She said a national unity will be forged to stamp out militancy from the country.

Khaleda said the BNP has envisioned to turn Bangladesh a higher middle income country by 2030.
