Infinix teams with Samsung for 108MP AI camera tech

Infinix, a trendy tech brand crafted for young consumers, has announced a strategic partnership with Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Business for joint optimization. Infinix introduced the world’s first 108MP AI-Powered Advanced Deep Learning Algorithm (AIADLA), utilizing Samsung ISOCELL’s image sensor software algorithms to enhance mobile photography.

AIADLA Technology for Mobile Photography
This advanced technology aims to significantly improve mobile imaging by offering better clarity, detail, and low-light performance. AIADLA surpasses traditional image enhancement methods by leveraging Samsung’s deep learning algorithms for noise reduction and detail improvement. It ensures high-resolution, clear, and vibrant images even in challenging long-range conditions, enabling users to crop and adjust photos without losing quality.

It also minimizes noise and distortion in low-light environments, resulting in high-quality photos across various settings. The AIADLA uses a pre-trained image database for calibration and incorporates Samsung’s ISOCELL sensor technology to improve adaptability and image quality under different conditions, effectively bridging the gap between professional and mobile photography.

Speaking about the partnership, Weiqi Nie, Head of Product at Infinix, said, “The collaboration with Samsung’s System LSI Business will transform mobile photography. Leveraging AI and deep learning, we’re enabling users to capture exceptional, professional-quality images right from their smartphones.”

ISOCELL’s sensor-specific modeling and training to provide the superior user experience is represented by the development of the AI-Powered Advanced Deep Learning Algorithm. This pioneering AI innovation empowers users to capture exceptional, high-resolution images with uncompromising clarity and detail, redefining the future of mobile photography.

Availability
Infinix’s AIADLA technology will be featured in their upcoming smartphone models, which are set to be released soon.
