ICCIT starts on December

Robi Axiata Limited, one of the leading mobile phone operators is going to sponsor the 17th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) to be held on 22-23 December 2014. The 17th ICCIT will be hosted by Daffodil International University (DIU). Details of the event were shared in a press conference held today at DIU campus.

The press conference was chaired by Mr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil International University. Mr. Supun Weerasinghe, Managing Director and CEO of Robi Axiata Limited was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest. Emeritus Professor Aminul Islam and Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology were present at the press conference as the Guests of Honor. Professor M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor and Professor Md Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University were also present on the occasion.

The 17th ICCIT 2014 is going to provide a unique opportunity for the computer and information technology professionals, scientists, engineers, educators, students and researchers from all over the world to exchange their scientific ideas, views and thoughts with fellow researchers and participants. This conference will address some of the more relevant and state-of-the-art issues and topics involved in computer science and engineering and information technology. The conference will focus not only on theory but also on applications and industry orientations.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest of the press conference and also the Managing Director and CEO of Robi Axiata Limited, Mr. Supun Weerasinghe said that “We are very excited to partner 17th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) to promote innovation and talent, which is crucial to the Telco industry and national development.
