High officials from Edison Group and Grameenphone were present during the launching ceremony in Grameenphone center situated at Jamuna Future Park, Dhaka. Premium handset, Helio S1, supports 4G network, 64-bit processors and comes with many more features that the customers are craving for. Customer will enjoy exclusive Grameenphone internet package with every purchase of helio S1. If any customer purchases any of Helio S1 handsets and tag with a GP prepaid or postpaid connection will get free 500 MB data instantly. The same customer can purchase 500 MB data at only BDT 99 and 4GB at only BDT 350. Customer can purchase above mentioned data offer seven times during the campaign period.

Helio S1 runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. It comes with a 5 inch HD AMOLED display with MiraVision technology. Through MiraVision, contents will be displayed more vivid and saturated having more details, providing a far richer and more colorful viewing experience. Both display and back part of the phone will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Data will be processed faster and smoother on this phone because of its 64-bit 1.3 GHz true Octacore processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. It sports a 13 Megapixel camera on the back and an 8 Megapixel camera on the front. The Helio S1 comes with hybrid dual SIM, 2400 mAh Li-Polymer battery, OTG & OTA support. The Helio S1 is beautifully designed with metal bazel having a slim body of 6.95mm.
