Green Grocery, the food-safety driven business venture has received Angel Investment

Green Grocery, the food-safety driven business venture, received angel investment just a few days back. “The firm is pressing on with painstaking manufacture of food, preservation and trendsetter packaging with its vow – ‘Quality That You Can Trust”, said Talukder Mohammad Shabbir, The founder and the managing director.

Swayed by Green Grocery’s journey a team of youth led by M Asif Rahman, the founder of Software Company ARCom & WDeveloper has decided to be onboard. Chief Executive Officer of WP Developer Nazmul Hasan Rupok, Co-founder and Chief Operation Officer of eFoli Jahangir Alam, Co-founder & CEO of eFoli Pran Krishna Paul, Ashif Anam Siddique and Chief Executive Officer of AuthLab Md. Shahjahan are some notable figures among investors.

Green Grocery’s grind of making a change to our everyday eating habit started in 2020. It’s list of products has incorporated more than 40 names – Tulsimala Rice, Mustard Oil, Gawa Ghee, Pure Honey, various types of Secret Recipe Masala, Homemade Jelly, Peanut Butter which have become a formidable desire among a remarkable number of customers. Its operation hinges on close collaboration between a grassroots farming community and a team of young representatives. On being sourced from peasants the products get through several processes of scientific filtration, well planned packaging and end up at the home of consumers in time.

“The concept of D2C(Direct to Consumer) is fresh in Bangladesh. Already many have been noticed working on food-safety but Bangladesh needs more business-initiative like this which can ensure adulteration-free, trustworthy products. Our health-consciousness has grown more than ever before; in this regard Green Grocery has huge potential to go a long way. It is going to hit new heights in future if it can keep up with the standard it has created. While analyzing our alliance we have considered our business interest as well as our tie with social responsibility. We believe we should sell those products to others, we can choose for our own families. Now we are part of the revolution, thanks to Green Grocery”, said M Asif Rahman.

The other two co-founders Sayem Murshed and Saba Chowdhury stated that Green Grocery is scaling up its supply and marketing ability and now the process is getting more energy through the investment.

Talukder Mohammad Shabbir added, all of these new investors are well-established and successful entrepreneurs. Like the funding they have brought to Green Grocery, their innovative ideas and experiences are equally significant. Green Grocery can attain new milestones with this success.
