We have immense potential for bagging more work orders. But entrepreneurs need bank loans at a lower interest rate for a rapid expansion of the business.”

“West Bengal and Myanmar are the potential markets for us because they have started building up new factories in their country. So, there is an ample opportunity to supply more accessory items to them,” he added.

Speaking at the programme, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Rubana Huq said, the entire RMG sector is not doing great at this moment because fifty-nine garment factories have been shut and 25,900 workers have lost jobs in the last seven months and our growth stood at negative 7.64 percent.
