Interactive storytelling in films is one of the most contemporary elements of cinematic evolution. In an interactive story, the audience gets to choose the storyline from multiple options presented to them at certain points of the film. Interest in this mode of filmmaking recently spiked by Black Mirror’s “Bandersnatch”. The story of “Kintu, Jodi EmonHoto?” is a tale of two doctors, Fahad and Bushra, living in different cities while dealing with complexities of their long-distance relationship.
Rezwanul Hoque, CEO of Transsion Bangladesh Ltd., stated “Interactive storytelling can be the next big thing. Our team at TECNO encourages innovation to give our customers excellent brand experiences.”
Director Emran Emon said “Every film is a new experience and this project is very unique, technically and creatively. Our team has done a phenomenal job in creating a new film viewing experience for majority of the audience in Bangladesh. The rest is left to the audience, literally.”
The renowned actor Nusrat Imrose Tisha stated, “I usually can’t manage my time to work in short films because I have a hectic schedule. But for the unique nature of this project, I was intrigued instantly, and now I am very excited to have the feedback from the audience. This is a new beginning in filmmaking. I am ecstatic to be a part of this unique and unprecedented endeavor.”
Yash Rohan, the rising star from “Shopnojaal” by Giasuddin Selim said, “I want to act in diversified roles. The audience will find me in a new dimension in this film. I hope they would love it.”
“We are always very passionate about presenting new and unorthodox work. We are taking a huge leap of faith with this bold integration of technology in filmmaking” – Anis Hannan Chowdhury from “How’s That?” production.
