“Financing Strategies for Start Ups” by YSSE

Financingis the most challenging task for the businesses in Bangladesh as per the rising entrepreneurs. Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs, country’s only youth driven nonprofitorganization for social entrepreneurs, arranged a seminar on “Financing strategies for startups” on 20th February at EMK Center.

Prominent Economist and Former Governor,Dr. Atiur Rahman, was present as the Chief Guest of the seminar. The youth of today’s country are dreaming with him of a green economy with self-dependable Bangladesh. As one of the special guests the Founder & Managing Partner of Business Valuation International UK,Dr. Fernando Scarpati ensured his graceful presence sharing his experience about financing issues. Another special guest,Mr. Ashfaq Zaman, President of LEAD (Leadership Excellence And Development) talked about how financing is getting easier today. Mr. RubaiyatShaimom Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Finance, Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology talked about the integrated financial planning.Co-Founder & Head of Business of GEEKY SocialLimited and also the AssistantProfessor ofDepartmentofFinance,University of Dhaka,Mr. Saimum Hossaindiscussed on the early stage investment landscape. Mr. Jalal Ahmed,the Chairman of Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd, Nepal & IFIC Money Transfer (UK) Ltd,and Former Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Government of Bangladesh, informed all the rising entrepreneurs about thestartup funding opportunities.Allthe honorable resource persons inspire the participants to stuck with the ideas and keep them believe on their own idea. Ideas brings financing. They have to thing visionary and consider investors’ point of view.

The President and Founder of YSSE,Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf Hossain hopes to arrange more knowledgeable program for entrepreneurs. In future, YSSE is planning to offer a complete course for entrepreneurs. They dream for an entrepreneur friendly inclusive society for innovative young minded people.
