Every Ride Matters Pathao Fulfilling dreams of underprivileged children

Pathao Limited, the largest on-demand digital platform in Bangladesh, has launched ‘Every Ride Matters’ campaign to fulfill the educational dreams of underprivileged children. Under this campaign Pathao will donate one taka from every ride taken during the Holy Ramadan. The amount earned during this period will be donated to Jaago foundation to bear all education related expenses of 20 children for one whole year.

Users, riders or captains will not have to pay extra for this campaign. The amount to be donated will come from Pathao’s commission out of each completed ride. At the end of every ride, Pathao users will see the profile of the child whose education cost will be covered from that ride. Users will get to see their use of the platform have direct effect on the lives of children.

CEO of Pathao, Hussain M Elius said, “Children know how to truly dream for a better future. Jaago Foundation have been working for a long time to provide proper education to these underprivileged children. That is why we have partnered with Jaago. It is a source of great inspiration for us to be able to have such an impact on their lives.”

Yesterday, an MOU was signed between Pathao and Jaago Foundation regarding this campaign. Pathao CEO Hussain M Elius and Jaago Founder Korvi Rakshand were present at the event along with higher officials from both Pathao and Jaago Foundation.
