Energypac Partners with eGeneration for SAP

Energypac, leading Power Engineering Companies in Bangladesh has signed an agreement with eGeneration Limited, leading IT consulting and Software solutions company for SAP ERP solutions. SAP is especially well-known for its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and data management programs. eGeneration is most prominent Partner of SAP in Bangladesh. Various industry specific modules of SAP are renowned and proven for their efficiency in increasing many organizations productivity as well as easing their business processes. Globally, 90% of Fortune 500 companies including Walmart, Exxon Mobil, Berkshire Hathaway, Apple, United Health Group, McKesson, CVS Health, Amazon, AT&T, General Motors use SAP. Over hundred Bangladeshi businesses have implemented SAP in their business process. In last few years SAP pricing has been significantly brought down and made more affordable for the Bangladesh market. Consequently, more Bangladeshi enterprises are now adopting SAP to improve their business process. eGeneration is working on digital transformation projects through SAP for many large organizations including Energypac, BRAC University, S. Shamim Sarwar, SAP Team Lead, eGeneration Ltd. were present among others at the agreement signing ceremony held at the head office of Energypac in the capital on Tuesday.

Last year, Indian SAP Partner companies generated about USD 40 billion dollars of export revenues from SAP consulting services. If Bangladesh develop a workforce of 7-8 thousand certified in SAP, we can export USD 1 billion dollars’ worth of SAP consulting services. Also, the local business conglomerates pay foreign SAP consultants thousands of crores Taka for SAP consulting support every year. While all these capital being taken out of country, these consultants consciously prevent any scope for knowledge-transfer to local consultants. eGeneration is working to build local substitute of this import and also create employment opportunities through developing local certified resources in SAP.”
