Country’s first infrastructure service company, edotco Bangladesh, has signed a tripartite agreement with Robi and InterCloud a leading ISP at Robi Corporate office today (Wednesday, July 23).
The agreement will help InterCloud to penetrate in the critical area smoothly and quickly and will eventually help to grow the data industry of the country. From Robi Axiata Ltd Mr. Supun Weerasinghe CEO & Managing Director, from edotco Bangladesh Mr. Yap Wai Yip, acting Chief Executive Officer, from InterCloud Mr. Syed Moinul Haq, Managing Director has signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Edotco group Operations & Business Support Director Vijendra Watson, Chief Sales Officer Wan Zainal Adileen Wan Puteh, edotco Bangladesh Sales & Business Development Director Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui, InterCloud, Chief Marketing Officer Hasibur Rashid and other high ups from the both companies were also present at the signing ceremony.
The agreement will help boost mobile data services to a new height, hoped the signatories. This agreement, signed for five years, will be the master agreement for infrastructure sharing with InterCloud. edotco is accommodating data service provider to make a big platform for a unique tower cooperation of the country. edotco is the first independent communications infrastructure service company in Southeast Asia, providing end-to-end infrastructure solutions to telecom and non-telecom operators, with a portfolio that includes tower, energy, transmission and operations/maintenance. InterCloud, a nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP) and IP Telephony Service Provider (IPTSP) licensee in Bangladesh, is a sister company of NovoCom and NovoTel Limited.
