To facilitate online education furthermore, DPS STS School has teamed up with Microsoft for a prestigious partnership. DPS STS School is the second organization to achieve this partnership from Microsoft. Earlier in 2012, the Ministry of Education in Bangladesh achieved the same partnership.
This partnership is an initiative from Microsoft’s eligibility program titled ‘Microsoft Shape the Future Program STRATEGIC EDU CARE Initiative.’ Under this partnership, students and teachers of DPS STS School will get windows 10 pro operating system only for $14.99, whereas the actual price is $199.99. The partnership will cover 3000 devices. For every purchase, there will be a saving of $185 or BDT 15,725.
Madhu Wal, Principal, DPS STS School, shared her enthusiasm by stating, “We are considering this partnership as a very significant achievement on our way to provide the best education for our students. During the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis we are going through, this is a really generous and helpful gesture from Microsoft. We thank Microsoft for this acknowledgment, and we will try to achieve the best possible utilization from this partnership.”
She also added, “We have been conducting fully functional regular online classes during the general holidays. Our online classes have already received sincere responses from parents with above 85% of attendance. We never compromise the standard of education, and we are always keen to facilitate our students in every endeavor.”
