Dhaka Comicon starts

The 3rd version of Bangladesh’s first ever comic book convention, titled ‘Dhaka Comicon 2014: The Age of Brilliance’ begins at the Chairmanbari field, Banani, in the capital tomorrow. Airtel Bangladesh Limited, the country’s most preferred youth brand, brings the 3rd Dhaka Comicon this year.

This year the convention will last 3 days, bringing live art competitions, short film competitions, toy display museum, gaming events, cosplay competition and many other exciting activities including concerts with prominent artists to entertain the fans. The gates will be open from 2 pm till 9 pm on the first day. The gates will be open from 10 am on Friday and Saturday until 9 pm.

Saadi Rahman and Syed Abu Yousuf, both of whom are comic enthusiasts and active collectors are the organizers of the event. This year, Airtel Bangladesh Ltd. is sponsoring the event for the second time and Radio Foorti is the media partner.

Airtel Bangladesh Limited will run different interesting competitions in the venue and will have 3G experience booth where Data Gurus will demonstrate airtel’s fast internet. Further information regarding Airtel activities for Comicon, 2014 can be found in their facebook page airtel Buzz.

The ticket for single day is 300 but 3 day package is only for 500.
