The youth-favored smartphone brand realme continues to add feather in their cap riding out all speculations as this fastest-growing smartphone brand in the world, of late, snatched away a place in the ‘Top 10 TWS Brands’ in terms of shipments for Q3 2020 (according to Counterpoint Research).
Meanwhile, Counterpoint highlighted the possibility that ‘realme could repeat its smartphone success to become 2021’s dark horse in wearables.’ realme has garnered 2% of the global market share in the true wireless stereo hearables (TWS) market.
Apart from this, realme has proved their prowess as a smartphone brand in many other fronts. Driven by a clear and precise vision, realme has gained 17 brand awards, 159 product awards and 5 top tier design awards around the world in 2020 including the Good Design Award 2020 for three different products, the Red Dot Design Award for the realme X2 Pro and the Golden Pin Award. By achieving all these milestones realme has exceeded its expectations on the corporate, product and design fronts respectively.
According to Counterpoint Research, realme has officially achieved the milestone of shipping 50 million smartphones in the shortest possible time, making it the ‘fastest growing smartphone brand’. realme has launched 5G technology in a relatively low-price range in various markets. Last year, for the first time, the renowned mobile authority GSMArena recognized realme’s midrange phones as all-rounder mobile phones in the market.
As a youth favorite brand, realme is always focused on its “smartphone + AIoT” strategy to facilitate the young generation with whatever they need to live their life all the more happening and vibrant. To this end, realme will launch its own AIot platform TechLife in 2021 with a view to offering a smart living lifestyle to the youth. Inspired by the idea ‘Dare to Leap’, ‘award-ridden 2020 as a totem of hard work paid off’ and empowered by the cutting-edge technology, realme is determined to replicate the last year’s performance and deliver even a stronger performance in the new year for all its fans and users.
