Walton Digital Campaign Season-6 has been kicked off across the country. The Bangladeshi multinational electronics brand has been conducting the campaign aimed at creating customer database for providing swift and best after-sales service to customers through online.
Like the previous seasons, the campaign’s Season-6 was commenced with some sorts of special benefits for the customers. From 20 February, 2020 everyday customers may get Tk 35 lakh worth different amount of cash vouchers by purchasing Walton brand fridge, television and air conditioner (AC) and then registering the products under the campaign’s season-6.
These customers’ benefits were disclosed at the ‘Declaration Program’ of Digital Campaign Season-6 held at the conference room of Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Thursday (February 20, 2020).
At the event, Walton officials informed that the campaign’s prime objective is to bring the after sales service under the online network through creating customer database. During the campaign, some details such as Walton products’ bar code, along with the customer’s name, address and contact number, have been stored on Walton server. As a result, the users of Walton products will easily get the desired after sales service even if they have lost the product’s warranty card. Customer database will also help the service center’s representatives getting customers’ feedback about their respective Walton products’ service.
To encourage customers for accelerating the Walton’s customer database process through registering their purchased products under the campaign, the local brand has been providing various sorts of special benefits for the customers like attractive cash back, cash vouchers etc.
The declaration program was attended by Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited’s Managing Director Nazrul Islam Sarker, Sales and Marketing Department’s Chief Coordinator Eva Rezwana, Distributor Sales Network’s Head Amdadul Haque Sarker, Plaza Sales Network’s Head Mohammad Rayhan, Executive Directors S M Zahid Hasan, Humayun Kabir, Uday Hakim, Sirajul Islam, Sakhawat Hossain and Amin Khan, Refrigerator Dept’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Golam Murshed, AC Dept’s CEO Tanvir Rahman, TV Dept’s CEO Mostafa Nahid Hossain and other senior officials of the company.
Walton’s Deputy Director Firoj Alam moderated the function.
While giving a written speech at the event, Digital Campaign’s Chief Coordinator Ariful Ambia said, “Walton has been conducting the digital campaign across the country from the month of October, 2017. Already, five seasons of the campaign have been completed successfully. All the seasons witnessed sound response from the buyers in registering their purchased Walton products. During these seasons, more than half of a crore number of buyers were enlisted into the online customer database of Walton. Considering the customers’ huge response to the campaign, the Season-6 has been kicked off with some special benefits for the customers. In Season-6, everyday customers of Walton fridge, TV and AC customers could have been awarded Tk 35 lakh worth different amounts of cash vouchers. A customer could get maximum Tk 5 lakh in cash. In addition, each customer will get different amount of cash vouchers.
It may be noted that one-year replacement guaranty and 12 years guaranty for fridge compressors are available on Walton fridge. And, customers of Walton AC are enjoying 6 months replacement guaranty and maximum 10 years guaranty for compressors. TV customers are getting 6 months replacement guaranty, along with maximum 4 years guaranty on TV panels and 5-year service warranty. Walton has 73 service points across the country to provide best after-sales service.
