Jamuna Bank account holders are now able to transfer fund to any bKash customer account using their JustPay App. Jamuna Bank account holder will use his/her JustPay App credentials to log into bank account and perform transaction. The fund transfer will take place instantly.
And for this bKash, the largest mobile financial service provider of the country and Jamuna Bank Limited has launched the service at bKash office yesterday
Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of bKash and Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director of Jamuna Bank Limited along with officials of both the organizations were present on the launching ceremony.
To avail the service, JBL account holders will need to use their JustPay App credentials to log into bank account and complete the transaction by adding or choosing a bKash customer account as beneficiary, entering amount and submitting customer’s JustPay App PIN. There will be no service charge on customers for this. And it can be availed 24/7 uninterruptedly.
Currently, fund can be transferred to bKash accounts from BRAC Bank, City Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Dhaka Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, Bank Asia, Eastern Bank, Midland Bank and South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank.
Launched in 2011, bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US based Money in Motion, International Finance Corporation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Ant Financial, operates as a payment service provider offering broad range of digital financial services under the regulation of Bangladesh Bank.
