CloudCamp Foundation Launches Career Canvas

CloudCamp Foundation Launches Career Canvas: An Open-Source AI-Powered Career Management Tool for Skill Development.

In a groundbreaking initiative, CloudCamp Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to modern skill development in Bangladesh, has launched Career Canvas, an open-source career management tool designed to empower students from Class 9, SSC, HSC, Polytechnic, Madrasahs, and Universities with AI-driven career planning and skill development. The launch event took place in Dhaka on February 16, 2025, with key figures from Bangladesh’s tech and education sectors in attendance.

Career Canvas is a first-of-its-kind open-source platform, built by a group of volunteers from both technical and non-technical backgrounds in Bangladesh. This tool addresses a critical challenge: enabling students to leverage AI for career growth, acquire global skills, secure fair compensation, and access universal career guidance.
Solving Career Challenges with AI
Career Canvas is designed to support students in navigating the evolving job market by offering:
Psychometric Analysis – Helping individuals understand their career aspirations, strengths, and potential career paths.
Aspirational Career Mapping – Guiding students toward career objectives aligned with their passions.
Global Job Trend Insights – Providing up-to-date career information based on global hiring trends.
Personalized Skill Development – Conducting skill gap analysis and mapping required skills for chosen career paths.
Brand Building & Career Growth – Assisting students in crafting a professional identity and positioning themselves for career success.
A Community-Driven Open-Source Solution
The initiative was led by Mohammad Zaman, Founder and Chairman of CloudCamp Foundation, who emphasized the importance of AI-driven career planning in shaping the future of Bangladesh’s workforce.

Speeches were also delivered by:

– Mahboob Zaman, Board Member of CloudCamp Foundation
– Zia Uddin Ahmed, COO of Creative Business Group
– Abdur Rahman Mamun, Country Representative, NetCom Learning

Additionally, developers of Career Canvas—Shahid Hossain, Tranvir Ahmed Khan, Mahamudur Rahman, and Azim—shared their experiences, highlighting how their participation in building the platform enhanced their own skill sets.

A Tool for Skill Development Organizations
Career Canvas is designed to be universally accessible and will be available for all skill development organizations in Bangladesh. Any institution can adopt, modify, and use this open-source framework to create their own tailored career development solutions.
Next Steps
With Career Canvas now officially launched, CloudCamp Foundation aims to collaborate with educational institutions, government bodies, and private sector partners to expand the platform’s reach and impact.
