Carnival Assure signs MoU with Acurra International

‘Carnival Assure’, an alternative distribution channel of the leading insurance companies of Bangladesh, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Acurra International Limited, an insurance aggregator registered in Malaysia. The signing ceremony was held at Amari Dhaka, in Gulshan of the capital.

The growth of Bangladesh has been immensely evidenced in the last couple of years which comes with emerging needs of various insurance coverages of different segments of the society. To satisfy the day-to-day demands more efficiently, Carnival Assure came in the market as a digital marketplace of micro insurance promoting innovative insurance services representing its insurance partners. Carnival Assure facilitates with focus on the specific risks of the end users and cost small premiums. The whole process, registration to claim settlement is fully paperless and takes minimum days due to the optimized process.

As an insurance aggregator, Carnival Assure has been facilitating to the mass people of Bangladesh by reaching to the farthest corners of the country through its advanced technological presence. In this journey, Carnival is facilitating more than 5 million end users in multiple segments like field force and their families of different FMCG companies, farmers in remote Chars doing cattle farming, employees and their families in multiple organizations, children care, vehicle protection and many more. Through this MoU, Carnival Assure and Acurra will be jointly working in partnership with Bangladeshi insurance companies will be facilitating with multi-facet insurance services in Bangladeshi market.

From Carnival Assure, Mr. Mahbubul Matin, Chairman; Mr. Mohiuddin Rasti Morshed, CEO and Mr. Zaman Bahadur Khan, Director were present. From Acurra International Mr. Richard Goh, Chairman; Mr. Ooi You Jing, Director and Ms. Sharmin Rahman, Country Manager were present during the signing ceremony. The program was also attended by Managing Directors & Senior Management representatives of leading insurance companies and financial institutions of Bangladesh.

Mr. Richard Goh, Chairman of Acurra International said, “We are pleased to get partnered with Carnival Assure. We are already working with multiple Bangladeshi insurance companies providing them re-insurance brokerage services along with our regular operations. We believe we can serve more segments in better efficient ways with the expertise of Carnival Assure in Bangladesh.”
