Carmudi release Research Report on “Car Financing in Bangladesh”

Carmudi, world`s fastest growing vehicle classified has launched a research report titled “Car Financing in Bangladesh” at a press meet held on 5th October 2015, Monday at Lakeshore Hotel in Gulshan 2 of the capital.

The research provides a look into the current and future state of the flourishing car financing market and how consumer attitudes towards credit have transformed in recent years. The findings in this report are based on studies by governmental institutions and authorities and interviews with financial institutions, car dealers, and banking experts throughout Bangladesh.

The event included speeches from eminent personas of various roles to be enlightened with the financing segment of the auto industry as well as other background information relating to it.

Joao Pedro Principe, Country Manager of Carmudi Bangladesh, Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Head of Customer Experience and Retail Products & Collection, Hafiz Uddin Shams, Director of Progress Motors and Mahfuzur Rahman Tushar, the first F4 Racer of Bangladesh spoke on this occasion as the panel of speakers.

The emergence of E Commerce in Bangladesh, its convenience and the phenomenal ways millions of users in Bangladesh are adopting these platforms, was praised by the speakers and the guests.

Carmudi’s research “Car Financing in Bangladesh” also shows the present scenario, where fewer barriers on foreign investment have enabled industries to flourish and job growth to remain robust. With more people employed, domestic consumption has increased and led to trends such as higher new car sales. Bangladeshi auto import experts predict an increase of 38.6% sales through 2019.

The conclusion of the report and event came down to the fact how car sales in Bangladesh is positively influenced by car finance and reflected how current government regulations incentivizing foreign investment and fluid credit markets, domestic consumption has and will continue to grow, resulting in strong sales of new and foreign imported cars in Bangladesh.
