British American Tobacco Bangladesh wins the ICMAB Best Corporate Award

British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited (BAT Bangladesh) received “The Best Corporate Award” under the category of ‘Manufacturing Industry’ for the year 2017 by the Institute of Cost Management Accounts of Bangladesh (ICMAB). It is to be noted here that BAT Bangladesh has received the award for the fourth time.

The award ceremony was held on last Saturday, 8th December 2018, at a local hotel. Honorable Finance Minister Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Shehzad Munim, Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh received the award from Abul Mal Abdul Muhit. Ms. Mubina Asaf, Head of Legal and External Affairs and Mr. Md. Azizur Rahman FCS, Head of Public Affairs along with other distinguished guests from various industries were also present at the ceremony.

BAT Bangladesh practices good governance, keeps transparency in its entire value chain and has embraced policies to assure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements ensuring the interest of the stakeholders. Moreover, the Company’s continuous efforts in creating and sustaining a positive impact in the communities have resulted in award winning initiatives.
