bKash organizes workshop on “Prevention of MFS Abuse” in Chaadpur

bKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country has organized a workshop on prevention of abuses in Mobile Financial Service (MFS) for its agents and distributors of Chaadpur district.

The workshop was attended by law enforcement authority of Chaadpur and, distributors and agents of bKash in that region.

A K M Monirul Karim, Head of External Affairs of bKash Limited andJahedParvez Chowdhury, Additional SP ofChaadpur District Police Sadar Circle were present at the program.

To create awareness and to prevent abuses in mobile financial service, the workshop discussed on what necessary steps should be taken by the agents, how the local law enforcement authorities can be informed about MFS abuses and help to reduce those and so on.

bKashhas been conductingsuch workshops in different districts of the country for the agents and distributors round the year.

Launched in 2011, bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US based Money in Motion, International Finance Corporation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Ant Financial, operates as a payment service provider offering broad range of mobile/digital financial services under the regulation of Bangladesh Bank.
