BGB member Bacchu gets new car buying Walton refrgierator

A Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) member named Abdul Momin Bacchu has been awarded a brand new car through purchasing Walton brand refrigerator under the ongoing nationwide Digital Campaign Season-4 of the local brand.

According to Walton, they announced a new offer on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr that customers may get new car on the registration of their newly purchased refrigerators and freezers from any Walton plaza or distributors’ outlet across the country. The campaign is also offering sure cash vouchers up to Tk 1 lakh or free products like fridge, television, air conditioner etc.

Under the offer, Abdul Momin Bacchu purchased a 11 cft refrigerator from Walton Plaza Kishoreganj branch at Tk 23,800 on May 11, 2019. Then, Bacchu took part in the digital registration process through sending SMS from his mobile phone with the details of his name and purchased refrigerator.
After a while, the BGB member received a SMS from Walton with the information of getting a brand new car under the digital campaign season 4.

Kishoreganj’s Additional District Magistrate Md. Habibur Rahman, Kishoreganj’s Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mahadi Hasan, Walton Group’s Executive Directors Humayun Kabir and Mohammad Rayhan handed over the key of the brand new car to Abdul Momin Bacchu at Gurudayal Govt. College ground in Kishoreganj on Thursday last (May 16, 2019).

Abdul Momin Bacchu, who is now posting to BGB 4 Battalion in Feni, said that he has been using Walton fridge for the last couple of year.
As the fridge is functioning very well, he purchased another Walton refrigerator for his 9-member family. Then, he registered the purchased refrigerator and thus got a brand new car, which has increased his family’s Eid happy.

Kishoreganj’s Additional District Magistrate Md. Habibur Rahman thanked Walton for announcing such a unique offer for the customers. He said, the offer will true many families’ dream of riding their own car.

“Today’s car handing ceremony proved that Walton keeps their promise given to customers,” he noted.

Walton Group’s Executive Directors Humayun Kabir said, Walton is creating online customers’ database through conducting nationwide digital campaign. Details of the customers and their purchased products including the name of customer, contact number and the model number of the product are being stored on a server, he said adding that as a result, the customers can seek post sales services through online.

Walton Plaza Sales and Development Head Mohammad Rayhan said, Walton released more than one hundred models of frost and non-frost refrigerator, freezer and beverage cooler.

In the first four months (January to April) of the current year, Walton registered 93 percent growth in the sales of their fridges as against the sales of the corresponding period of the previous year, mentioning it he noted that world-class quality, reasonable prices, installment facility and assurance of swift post sales services are behind the remarkable growth.
