Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in Bangladesh, has officially launched Toffee, a digital entertainment platform, to provide customers with an exciting opportunity to enjoy a wide range of high-quality entertainment contents.
Toffee was launched by Sergi Herrero, Group Chief Operating Officer, VEON, the parent company of Banglalink. Also present at the launching ceremony were Taimur Rahman, Acting CEO and Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink, Upanga Dutta, Chief Commercial Officer, Banglalink, Asfar Khair, Chairman, Bengal Broadband Ltd., Iftekhar Zaman, CEO, Nexdecade Technology Pvt. Ltd. and other senior members of the organizations.
Accessible through an app and a website, Toffee has come up with the highest number of TV channels ever made available on a single digital platform in the country. Currently, 60 local and international channels are available on the platform, and more channels will be made available in future. Some channels will be available for free, whereas users need to subscribe for watching the premium channels. Along with watching popular TV channels, users can enjoy contents of different categories such as music videos, dramas, movies and get earning opportunities by submitting their own contents on the platform. The android version of Toffee app is available in Google Play: http://bit.ly/34HQJCB. Initially all users will enjoy one month of free subscription. After the expiration of the trial period, users need to subscribe to watch the premium contents. Subscription starts from BDT 3.00/Day.
