A young entrepreneur receives Walton fridge cash voucher from Mashrafe

A young entrepreneur in Dhaka named Md Monirul Islam Titu got doubled of his paid amount to buy a Walton brand refrigerator of 312 liter as free cash voucher under the company’s nationwide ongoing ‘Fridge Winter Festival’ offer.

Bangladeshi International Cricketer and Parliament Member for Norail-2 constituency Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who is brand ambassador of Walton Group, handed over the Walton fridge’s 200% cash voucher award to Md Monirul Islam Titu at a programme held at Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited in Kaliakair, Savar recently.

The function was attended, among others, by Walton Group’s Deputy Executive Director Md Firoj Alam and Deputy Operative Director Mofizur Rahaman were present.

Walton has been offering maximum 200% cash vouchers or sure cash back under its ongoing ‘Fridge Winter Festival,’ an initiative of encouraging customers taking part in the company’s ‘Digital Campaign Season-5 through registering their purchased  products.

The local brand has been conducting the campaign across the country aimed to accelerate the process of bringing its post sales services under the digitalized system through preparing online customer database. During this campaign, product’s details, including customer name and contact number, are stored on Walton’s server. The database will help customers getting quick after sales service from any Walton service center even if the warranty card is lost. Service center representatives can also get customers’ feedback.

Of late, Md Monirul Islam Titu and his four friends started a restaurant business at Matuail in the capital. To buy a refrigerator for the restaurant, he, along with his friends and business partners, went to Dhaka’s Bangabandhu Stadium Market. His friends suggested him buying Walton brand refrigerator as they are getting well services using the local brand’s refrigerators at their homes. Then Titu bought a Walton brands’ 312 liter refrigerator from Ababil Electronics, an exclusive distributor of Walton at the Stadium Market.  After purchasing the fridge, he registered the product’s bar code, his name and mobile phone number. After a while, he received an SMS of 200 percent cash voucher award in his registered mobile phone number from Walton. With the awarded cash voucher, he purchased two more refrigerators, one microwave oven and three blenders of Walton. Among these products, he gifted the refrigerators to his two friends and the rest of the products were kept for using in the restaurant.

According to Walton authorities, each and every fridge of the local brand is being supplied to the market after getting the quality testing certificate from the international standard Nusdat-Universal Testing Lab. Walton brand refrigerators have been received several standards’ certifications at national and international, including BSTI’s ‘Five Star’ energy rating, ISO, OHSAS, EMC, CB, ROHS, SASO, ESMA, ESHA, G-Mark, E-Mark etc. And thus, Walton made refrigerators are being exporting to different countries of the world.

World’s latest technologies like intelligent inverter, nano-health care and anti-fungal door gasket are being used in Walton fridge. One-year replacement guaranty and also 12 years guaranty on compressors are offered to Walton fridge customer.

Walton is now manufacturing and marketing more than 150 models of frost, non-frost refrigerators and freezers and beverage coolers in the local market. Prices of these fridges are between Tk 10,000 and Tk 69,900.
