A New Era in Smartphone Videography with vivo V40 5G

vivo has officially launched its latest addition to the V series, the V40 5G, introducing a revolutionary experience in smartphone photography and videography. Pre-orders for the V40 5G commenced 30 September and will run until 5 October.

This marks a significant milestone for vivo, as the vivo V40 5G is the first smartphone in the V series to incorporate ZEISS lenses, developed through a collaborative effort by vivo and ZEISS’s Research and Development teams. With 178 years of expertise in optical technology, ZEISS is renowned globally for its premium lens production.

Consumers pre-ordering the vivo V40 5G will receive a complimentary RIRO W1 Pro Smart Watch, valued at Tk 4,799, alongside an exclusive gift pack and a poster card. The smartphone is priced at Tk 62,999.

A standout feature of the V40 5G is its ZEISS Cinematic Portrait Video capability. This advanced functionality enhances video aesthetics with cinematic quality, integrating ZEISS Focus Transition and ZEISS Cinematic Video Bokeh. Together, these features enable the smartphone to maintain focus on the subject while creating a cinematic atmosphere that adapts to changes in direction.

The V40 5G also offers seven distinctive bokeh effects, including ZEISS Cinematic Style Bokeh, ZEISS Cine-flare Portrait, ZEISS Biotar Style Bokeh, ZEISS Planar Style Bokeh, ZEISS Distagon Style Bokeh, ZEISS Sonnar Style Bokeh, and ZEISS B-Speed Style Bokeh, allowing users to capture cinematic videos effortlessly. Additionally, the Multifocal Portrait feature enables users to take professional-quality photos and videos at three different focal lengths—24mm, 35mm, and 50mm—within a single frame.

Equipped with a 50-megapixel ZEISS ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel ZEISS OIS main camera, and a 50-megapixel ZEISS group selfie camera, the V40 5G caters to all photography needs. The device also features an upgraded AI Aura Light Portrait function for improved photography in indoor and backlit conditions, thanks to its advanced AI 3D Studio Lighting technology.

Despite housing a powerful 5,500mAh BlueVolt battery, the V40 5G remains vivo’s sleekest design to date, measuring just 7.58mm in thickness and weighing a mere 190 grams. Its premium 6.78-inch AMOLED display boasts a resolution of 2800 x 1260, a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The smartphone incorporates 80W Flash Charging technology for rapid recharging, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that ensures swift and smooth performance. Users can opt for the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Moreover, it features IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance capabilities.

The V40 5G is constructed with a glass back cover and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, showcasing a dual-colour design with a Gemini ring camera module. Available in Nebula Purple and Moonlight White, the vivo V40 5G is poised to set new standards in the Bangladeshi smartphone market, merging innovative technology with aesthetic elegance.
