The vibrant spirit of youth and the essence of tradition converged at the JCI Carnival and 2024 Inauguration Ceremony, an annual extraordinary event hosted by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh.
It exemplified JCI’s commitment to transforming young minds into powerful change agents of society, as two-thirds of Bangladesh’s population is young.
JCI Bangladesh, with its 5,000+ members and 40 local chapters, is more than just an organisation; it’s a vibrant movement of young, passionate individuals committed to creating substantial, tangible changes in their communities and the nation.
This grand event, held at Greenville Outdoor in Dhaka on January 27, 2024, unfolded as a day-long celebration that brought together around 6,000 members and guests. It served as a platform for members, their families, and friends to connect, indulge in a traditional Mezban meal, and experience Bangladesh’s rich traditions, culture, and opportunities of networking and discussion for social change.

The atmosphere was brimming with energy as participants engaged in games, fostering a sense of camaraderie and joy. The following cultural competition showcased JCI Bangladesh members’ talents from 35 chapters, presenting a dazzling array of entertainment, including songs, dances, and recitations. The pinnacle of the event was the inauguration ceremony of the 2024 National Committee, where each member of the National Executive Committee was introduced in a grand ceremony.
The whole-day event ended with the popular band Miles’s performance. The event had Toggi Fun World as the associate partner and Jamuna Electronics & Automobiles Limited, along with Kazi Printing Accessories Limited, as Gold Partners.
JCI Bangladesh National Treasurer Kazi Fahad, serving as the event director, and National Secretary General Fahim Ahmed, co-convener, played crucial roles in orchestrating the success of the day-long event.
Treasurer Kazi Fahad said, “Through activities like this, JCI Bangladesh seeks to make its name synonymous with youth empowerment and active citizenship by collaborating with like-minded organisations and hosting engaging community events.
