The CodersTrust (CT), a global skill development institution in Bangladesh organized a “Certificates and Prize Giving Ceremony” for its graduates at the Banani main campus on Thursday last. Presided over by Md. Ataul Gani Osmani, the Country Director of CT, Mr. NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Information and Communication Technology Division was present as the chief guest while Mr. Nazrul Islam Khan, former Education Secretary, Dr. Md. Mufizur Rahman, the Director General of Bangladesh Industrial & Technical Assistance Center (BITAK), Brigadier General (Rtd.) Abdul Halim, the Senior Advisor to CodersTrust Bangladesh and Sonia Bashir Kabir, the founder of KSB Foundation were present as the special guests. Among others, Mr. Aziz Ahmed, the Co-Founder of CoderTrust was also present at the session.
Praising the training activities of CodersTrust, the speakers of the program opined that there is a good number of unemployed youths in Bangladesh who can contribute to the development of the country having proper training. When the youth section of the country will be technologically skilled, the country will no longer be reamined as a third-world country. CT Bangladesh has been working relentlessly for 5 years to transform the potential human resources, predominantly the youth, into skilled professionals.
Country Director of CodersTrust Bangladesh Ataul Goni Osmani chaired the event. The co founder of the organization Mr. Aziz Ahmad, said that- to create self employment opportunities for people from all walks of life-is the main reason for what coders trust was launched. Coders trust is working to create employment for the youth by providing them quality training-he added. He hoped around 2 lakhs students will be trained from coders trust by 2022.
The chief guest- Mr. M N Ziaul Alam has said about the various ICT training initiatives taken by the government. Referring to the Bangladesh’s position in international freelancing market, Ziaul Alam admits that Coders trust kept an important role in the process. He also expressed his hope for working with CodersTrust in future. Former education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan emphasized on ICT education and its to the point implementations. He expressed his satisfaction over coders trust’s quality training and urged CT to open branches across the country. DG of Bangladesh Industrial and Technical Assistance Center Dr. Mafizur Rahman said that- young students can develop the country after upgrading their skill by receiving quality training. Special guest Sonia Bashir Kabir urged the young students to upgrade their skill. The more skilled people we have the much developed country we get- she said. She also expressed her deep satisfaction over coders trust’s positive activities in the industry.
Referring to the multiple uses of information and technology in our daily necessity the senior adviser of Coders trust Bangladesh, Brig. Gen(rtd) Abdul Halim has said that one can help him/herself to bring financial improvement to his/her life.
